On 13 October 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv organized a ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej to mark one year anniversary of his passing. Her Excellency Ms. Penprapa Vongkovit, Ambassador of Thailand, delivered a tribute speech to the late King. After that, the attendants did the prayer as a homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. On this occasion, a special prayer composed by Somdet Phra Vanarata, the abbot of Bowonniwet Vihara Temple, was also prayed as a homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
