ENTRY MEASURES TO THAILAND EFFECTIVE FROM 11 JANUARY 2022 ✈️
🔴 SANDBOX 🔴
- Stay in Sandbox area for 7 days before being permitted to travel to other parts of Thailand
- Current Sandbox areas include Phuket, Krabi, Phan-Nga and Surat Thani (Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan).
📌 Required Documents
1) Passport
2) Certificate of Vaccination
3) Pre-paid 7 days SHA Extra+ / AQ hotel reservation confirmation including the fee for 2 RT-PCR tests and airport pick-up
4) Insurance policy with minimum coverage of 50,000 USD (not required for Thai nationals)
5) COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued within 72 hours before departure (not required for travellers aged under 6)
6) Visa (if required)
** Travellers aged below 18, if unvaccinated, must travel with parents/guardian. Aged 12-17 and received 1 (one) dose of vaccination, may travel unaccompanied.
🔴 ALTERNATIVE QUARANTINE (AQ) 🔴
- 7 days quarantine for fully vaccinated travellers
- 10 days quarantine for not-fully vaccinated travellers

2) Certificate of Vaccination (for 7 days quarantine)
3) Pre-paid AQ hotel reservation confirmation including the fee for 2 RT-PCR tests for 7/10 days and airport pick-up
4) Insurance policy with minimum coverage of 50,000 USD (not required for Thai nationals)
5) COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued within 72 hours before departure (not required for travellers aged under 6 and Thai nationals)
6) Visa (if required)
** Travellers aged below 18 who are travelling unaccompanied must submit proof of 1 (one) dose of vaccination to be eligible for 7 days quarantine.
🔺 NOTE 🔺
• For applicants who have registered prior to 22 December 2021, the Thai Government will subsidize the cost for the second RT-PCR lab test 
• Applicants applying from 22 December 2021 onwards must pay for this cost by themselves
