Thailand will implement a temporary Visa on Arrival (VoA) fee exemption scheme from 14 January - 30 April 2019.

The scheme applies to nationals and holders of passports and travel documents of the countries/territories who are entitled to apply for VoA at the designated immigration checkpoints. It is applicable only for tourism purposes and stay for up to 15 days.

During the abovementioned period, holders of passports and travel documents of Andorra, Bulgaria, Bhutan, China (excluding Hong Kong and Macau), Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Taiwan are exempted from VoA fee of 2,000 baht.
