On 28 July 2011 Diplomats and staffs of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv showed their support to the Thailand national football team at the Faisal Husseini Stadium in West Bank. The game ended with both teams tied at 2:2, but Thailand was qualified to the next round with the overall score 3:2.
