On 6 July 2023, H.E. Ms. Pannabha Chandraramya, Ambassador of Thailand in Israel, paid a courtsey call on H.E. Mr. Ronen Levi, Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel.

 

Both sides had a productive discussion and agreed to promote bilateral relations and cooperation in all aspects, such as economics, investment & trade, people-to-people connections as well as protection of Thai workers' rights and benefits. They also discussed possible events to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Thailand-Israel diplomatic relations in 2024, which will also highlight the cordial and longstanding ties between the two countries.

 

On this occasion, Director-General Levi gave Ambassador Chandraramya a plague of appreciation for her active participation in the Women in Diplomacy Network's "Ambassador for a Day" activity. The activity gave an opportunity to female students from an underprivileged community to spend a day with Ambassador Chandraramya and the Royal Thai Embassy's diplomats to learn and open their perspectives about a day in a life of a diplomat.
